Skilled leader with more than 20 years of experience in leadership and software development. Through coaching, agile methodologies, deep understanding of DevOps and CI/CD, excellent software solutions are delivered and strong teams are developed.

My experience ranges from System Administrator in the NGO sector to Engineering Manager in a high pace SaaS environment. Along the way, I have gained experience of building, developing, leading and coaching teams. As a systems architect, I have designed complex systems and as a software developer, I have written software that has been used by both the aerospace industry and university research.

My technical experience includes both cloud and on-prem solutions. I have developed backend systems, pipelines and Linux systems. Language experience contains Python, Golang and shell scripting.

My current job as an engineering manager involves recruitment, coaching of individuals and groups, training and developing the agile way of working at the company. When necessary, my work also means getting involved in technical work, most often as leading some of our technical department wide initiatives.

Education & Training

Academy

Örebro University - BSc Programme in Systems Development and Software Engineering 2003

Besides my computer studies I also studied humanities, with studies in Literature, organizational theory and Philosophy.

Agile

I have had the fortune of being trained by, and worked with, some of the best agile coaches in Sweden as a Scrum Master and Product Owner and feel very well versed in the methodology.

Helping Scrum Masters, Product Owners or Developers in their day to day work using agile methodologies is part of my idea of fun. But agile coaching is not only about teamwork and individuals but also about the structure and work within the whole organization. As one of the most senior managers on the subject I work closely with other managers to develop the way we work in order to deliver products with more quality in a faster way.
